Carboxytherapy is a treatment created in France in 1932. The carbon dioxide therapy consists in precise intra-cutaneous injection of controlled doses of carbon dioxide – medical gas.  The infusion of CO2 causes the local reconstruction of the tissues, increase in oxygenation and delivery of nutrients.  The fibroblasts violently start the production of new collagen and elastin fibres.
